Shannon started playing volleyball at age 12, in 7th grade, after watching her older sister play on her varsity team in high school. She continued playing through high school and into a division I college. Then her coaching career began.

• Head Coach Girls and Boys volleyball – Western High School 1997

o Regional Semi-finalists
• Head Coach Girls Volleyball (Varsity) – Miami Southridge 1998-2005
• Assistant Coach Boys Volleyball (J.V.) – Miami Southridge 1998-2005
o Champions of JV end of season tournament 2003
• Director of the South Florida Volleyball Club Local League 2001 and 2002. Goal was to help volleyball players in Miami-Dade County to affordably play locally and competitively, to improve their skills, and foster love of the game.
Present Day:
• 2017 – present – Coach in the Cooper City Crush Beach 4s Volleyball league

Volleyball has been a HUGE part of my life for a very long time! I am proud of my accomplishments and eager to give back to the community I love so much. I look forward to reigniting my passion for coaching and inspiring others to love the sport as much as I do.
