I am Makayla Adams. I currently am the head coach for Wildfire volleyball 14 Regional Black. I’ve played volleyball throughout the years starting from when I was 6-7 years of age when it was club Florida. Other teams I’ve played is Boomers, OBV, Rival, Wildfire and Tribe. I played Libero/Ds and was a setter at times in school volleyball. I’ve always played club volleyball and started my journey in school in high school sophomore year on the varsity team at Coral Springs high school. Playing in school encouraged me to help the Jv & varsity girls gain knowledge on the things I’ve learned on a club volleyball level, also to encourage them to join a club team. I helped assist my school coach when needed. I’ve always wanted to carry volleyball with me, I started as an assistant coach after I graduated for Tribe volleyball in 2020, I was also a cheerleader from kindergarten up until 4th grade when I started to focus only on volleyball. Known characteristics will be athleticism, outgoing, vibrant, and kind.

My goal as a coach is to sustain respectable/strong athletes. It is important to me to not only be a coach to the players but to be a reliable mentor for the players. Promote positive working relations with athletes/guardians. Leading the girls to experience victories, instructing the aspect of volleyball on technique and to skillfully help players make conscious decisions to improve their performance level and also to enjoy the game of volleyball most importantly!
