Coach Anissa has been part of the Wildfire Volleyball family since she was just 15 years old. At 16, she began her coaching journey by assisting her younger sister’s team alongside Coach Ore Pablos. A dedicated athlete, Anissa played all four years at West Broward High School, then continued her volleyball career with two seasons at Johnson & Wales University (JWU).
Since 2017, Anissa has also been an active member of the IAM Program, furthering her development as both a coach and mentor. During the 2019–2020 season, she had the opportunity to lead her own team—12U State. Although that season was unfortunately cut short due to the pandemic, Anissa continued to grow through the experience.
Since then, she has gone on to coach every age group at every level, bringing a wealth of knowledge, patience, and passion to every team she leads. Anissa is proud to give back to the program that helped shape her as both a player and a coach.
