I developed a passion for volleyball at an early age during summer camps at African Square Park in Miami Fl. That passion grew stronger as would go on to compete throughout my primary and secondary education journey. I attended Miami Northwestern High school where I really started to shine under the amazing tutelage of Coach Ralph Minus who always pushed for me to maximize my skills in every aspect of the game. There were not many options to play club volleyball, but I took all my practice time seriously and with the support and dedication of my coach and teammates, it made competing at high levels all worth it. We were called the Magnificent 7 and went on to claim state runner up in 1995. I went on to be named Best Defensive Player that year and First Team All Dade for the Miami Herald Newspaper my senior year in 1996.
I started my Collegiate volleyball career at Miami Dade Wolfson for two years where my team made it to Nationals for both. I then transferred to Florida Memorial University to conclude my volleyball career as a player.
Lastly, I went on to be the Girls Head Volleyball Coach for Miramar High School for 12yrs and 2 years of club volleyball. I’m excited extend my love and passion for the sport.
